Where can I get a diagram/poster of the XNA Framework class hierarchy?

    Hi all,

When I first learned Java, I had a poster of the Java SDK on my wall at work, and it was very helpful.

I even had a poster of Microsoft's WFC for Java, which I never really used, but it was cool. :)

Anyway, I was wondering if I can get a similar poster or diagram of the XNA Framework class hierarchy?

Basically, a visual representation of the XNA Framework Class Library, documented here:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb203940.aspx

It could be anything in a multi-page printable document (Visio, PDF, PPT, etc) or a reference to a book that can be obtained in the library/bookstore, a website, etc

    Thanks in advance! :)

p.s. I did a quick Image Search, and found some similar diagrams for Java:
    e.g.
    http://java.sun.com/developer/onlineTraining/Programming/BasicJava2/Art/hierarchy.gif
... so I am looking for an XNA diagram that is similar to this...

sorry to respond to my own thread, but it's late/early now, so I doubt there are many people available to respond at this time.

Anyway, I copied/pasted the class hierarchy tree view from the MS site I mentioned above.

I created an HTML page with only the XML class hierarchy, here:
    http://KewlList.com/xnaClasses.html

Full credit of the content goes to Microsoft of course, and I've retained all the links that point to the Microsoft website.

Hopefully you guys will find it useful as a quick reference, and maybe someone will see it and create a diagram/poster out of it, or point me to one

    Thanks again!

Re: Where can I get a diagram/poster of the XNA Framework class hierarchy?

as dawn approaches, I've taken the time to copy/paste the info into a 16-page PPT file, so now I can print it on a 4x4 matrix...

    here you go:

    Mods/Admins,
If you find this thread to be inappropriate because I posted my own responses, feel free to remove it... but if someone posts a response this week, I would still like to see an official poster if available.

Or if someone finds this thread useful, hopefully you can leave it open.

That's totally ok. We want people to come and post their solution, because this way other people may find it.
On the contrary, It's somewhat annoying when someone posts a question, and comes back after a few days saying "Fixed It" (or worse, editing their initial post, deleting the question altogether), and don't bother posting what they did so other people can benefit.

This is extremely helpful. There should be better indexing like this in the official documentation.
Thank you for taking the time to make and share this.

I've never seen a poster - Microsoft doesn't tend to make them - moe likley MSDN magazine, or possibly individuals within the devdiv team do it... nothing official so your's is the only one I know of.

... and this is 5 months after Sabou's question..!

sorry, I shut down my KewlList website, where I was hosting the file.

I'm going to try and find the old PPT file, and will post it again if I find it.

Let me know if you still want it emailed to the email address you provided.

    UPDATE:
here you go, uploaded to Microsoft's SkyDrive:

    UPDATE 2:
ok, the SkyDrive upload messed up my Word/PPT files, so I used Google Doc instead:

I ran across this excellent resource accidentally the other day, then just saw this thread, so I went back and found these class diagrams for XNA 4.0 & 3.0:

In case anyone wants/needs an alternative.
