Thank you for putting up with our ***, our whining, our complaints, our arguments, our differences, our accusations, our outbursts, our paranoia, our bad moods, our tempers and our frustrations. Thank you for taking your own personal time out to try and help the XNA community, and steer it towards greatness.
Thank you for being the voice of reason within what can only be described as an 'erratic' community.
We all wish you had a lot more power within the XNA system, and I think we all, deep down inside, know that you're as frustrated as we are with Microsoft's lack of communication with us - perhaps more so!
I didn't really have much else to say; I only have contact details for a few of the MVPs, so I can't do this privately, where it should be done, but truly, from the very bottom of my heart, thank you all for continuing what you believe is best for the community.

I have been reading this forum for over 2 years now and only recently starting to get active. I can agree fully with this thread that at the moment there is some negativity about but at the same time it also looks like people are getting fed up of it, maybe things are changing for the better? I sure hope so. I would also like to thank the MVPs, they do what they can within their power.
Also, there is an unsung hero I feel in Mr_Deeke. He's been so positive about XBLIG and a part from having one hiccup with the MC vs FC lawsuit that never was, he's been great for us. If you get chance help the guy out, send him a paid code for your game to review just show some love :).
Even though I haven't been here long (well not posting much) I pledge to do my best for this community and not let the little niggles get in the way of something that could be great.
Without this turning to much into a speech, let’s all unite and help each other out regardless of our differences because we are all the same bedroom programmers who struggling to get seen amongst all the commercial games out there!
*marches off into the distance*

As you probably know if you read my blog I love the MVPs in the XNA scene. Proper good people (even if i accidentally say things that might look otherwise)
All of them are amazing. Apart from that Jim dude. Massive attitude problems that guy.
just kidding, i know he can come across as harsh, but someone needs to level out the rainbows and kittens that is George ;)

Thanks for all that you've done guys!
Even though some of you are a little unstable(*points at Jim*), you're alright folks. :D
We couldn't have better voices for the XBLIG community IMO.

I've lurked here for a couple of years also and have seen a number of cycles of issues and dramams pass through.
Can you imagine XBLIG without them? This place would have imploded long ago.
And the work they do on top of here at the App Hub is amazing! Blog posts, twitter & irc questions, just generally being approachable, etc. They have provided me personally with so much knowledge it's amazing. All this on top of day jobs, family raising, etc. I am in awe of how they do it.
Thanks guys!

DjArcas:Thank you for putting up with our ***, our whining, our complaints, our arguments, our differences, our accusations, our outbursts, our paranoia, our bad moods, our tempers and our frustrations.
When I read that, I honestly thought you were referring to the FortressCraft "Code 4" debate.
The more I think about it though, I think I was probably right... You just disguised it as a 'community' thing. Nice to see you guys are finally admitting you're not infalliable.
And anyways...
+1 from me too to The ZedMan and the crew for their great job.

Yeh MVP'S, Thanks for putting up with DjArcas! (the evil cloning dj?!) Everyone knows it can't be easy :D
{legal disclaimer: for anyone who doesn't understand my humour, which is usually everyone :(, the previous sections of text were intended to be humorous}
Thanks to MVP's and everyone else in the community for your good deeds, passion and the resulting chaos that usually accompanies such things :D

Thanks MVPs we really appreciate you a lot. XBLIG may have some problems, but it's still really cool to be able to write games for such a great console.

Re: FAO MVPs - Thank you.

Not sure what all the fuss is about. In my experience they're just a bunch of unhelpful, selfish, self important, stuck up losers. I'm sure all the supposed good things they do are just so they can retain their MVP status. They are undoubtable the reason XBLIG is nearly dead. In fact I hold them responsible for the list freezes, the lack of input from MSFT and everything else that's ever gone wrong around here.

I couldn't stand all that lovey dovey BS... Just posted this to remind y'all how this forum normally proceeds. Oh, and +1 The MVPs Rock ;)

Re: FAO MVPs - Thank you.

I've just spent the last 2 or 3 weeks working on a "proper" app for a client and generally pottering about due to ill health, and it's done my rusty old heart good to see this thread when I come back from this brief sabbatical. The role the MVPs play in our community can not be overstated. They're more or less always available, approachable, honest and direct, and shout very loud and hard on our behalf in a number of arenas. I've yet to have a question or problem which one or more of them have been unable to either help me with directly or point me in the right direction, and I've had my fair share of problems!
Regards, Mike
